A "Naja" is a symbol with much history, it was first created as a talisman for protection, with the Moors affixing it to their horses' bridles to ward off the evil eye. The symbol was later brought to the Americas by the Spanish in the late 16th century, and it made its way into Native American culture.
This Naja is handcrafted from solid sterling silver, and has a pretty square turquoise stone, along with southwest stamping. It hangs on a turquoise chip strand of 16" length.
